Cloud POS quietly assumes a stable connection to your city, your ISP and your vendor's data centre. In UAE ground-floor retail that assumption breaks a dozen times a year - a router reboot, a fibre cut on the corniche, a payment-gateway blip, a landlord's afternoon power test. Zeyto POS removes the assumption. The till runs a signed local binary against a PostgreSQL database on the same machine or on the shop LAN. Every ring, void, discount, hold, tender and refund is committed to a local ledger and printed from that local ledger. When the internet is available the till syncs with the head-office node and pulls fresh prices; when it is not, the queue keeps growing and absolutely nothing at the counter changes. That is the offline-first promise, and it is the whole point of Zeyto.

Most UAE tills need more than one tender per bill and more than one bill per customer. Zeyto is built around that.
Split any bill across any mix
One receipt can be settled across cash, card, wallet, gift voucher and store credit in any combination. The tender pad shows remaining balance in real time and prints a full breakdown on the receipt and Z-report.
Wallet and QR ready
Wallet tenders (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and local QR schemes routed through the card terminal) post as their own tender line for clean reconciliation - not lumped under card.
Held bills survive restart
Parked baskets are persisted locally, so a till reboot or a power blip does not lose a single held sale. Any cashier with permission can recall from any register in the shop.
Returns tied to the original
A refund references the original receipt number and defaults to the original tender - card back to card, cash back to cash. Part-returns and mixed refunds are supported and stock reverses automatically.
Discounts with an audit trail
Line and bill discounts capture the reason code and the cashier. Above-limit discounts require a supervisor PIN and are logged for the manager report.
Price override with reason
When a shelf label disagrees with the system, the cashier can override with a reason code. The override, the original price and the granting supervisor are stamped on the receipt line.

Closing a till in Zeyto is a signed, reproducible ritual - not a scroll of numbers.

Straight answers
Does Zeyto POS really work with zero internet?
Yes. Zeyto POS is a local ASP.NET Core application running against a local PostgreSQL database on the same PC or on the shop LAN. Sales, tenders, holds, returns, receipt printing, cash-drawer control, weighing scale integration and the Z-report all execute locally without any network call. The internet is only used, when available, for background sync to the head-office node and for the signed .zlic licence check - and the licence check has a long grace window so it will never lock a till mid-outage.
How does the offline queue sync back to head office?
Every till writes each ring, tender, void and stock movement to a local queue as it happens. When the network returns, Zeyto Sync pushes those rows to the head-office database and pulls back reference data that changed while the till was offline - new items, price changes, promotions and customer records. Each till has its own receipt-number series, so multiple tills running offline in parallel do not collide when they later meet at head office. Conflicts on master data are resolved by the head-office node as the authoritative source.
What happens to VAT numbering and FTA compliance while offline?
Nothing degrades. Receipts continue to print with the till's own sequential number series and carry the full VAT invoice content required by the UAE Federal Tax Authority - TRN, tax breakdown by rate, invoice number, date and party details where relevant. Under AED 10,000 the simplified tax invoice format applies, above it the full tax invoice. Because numbering is per-till and never shared across tills, no gaps or duplicates appear when the shop later syncs to head office.
Which hardware does Zeyto POS support at the counter?

Can one bill be paid across cash, card and wallet at the same time?
Yes. The tender pad accepts any combination of cash, card, wallet, gift voucher and store credit against a single receipt, with the remaining balance updating as each tender is entered. Change is calculated for the cash portion, the receipt prints a tender-by-tender breakdown, and the Z-report at end of shift shows totals by tender for reconciliation against the card-terminal batch and the drawer count.
Does Zeyto POS print Arabic receipts?
Yes. Zeyto POS is bilingual English and Arabic with true right-to-left layout. Item names, tender labels, totals, amount-in-words and the Z-report headings can all print in both scripts, and the receipt template can be set per outlet to English-primary, Arabic-primary or fully bilingual. Cashiers can also search the item catalogue by Arabic or English name interchangeably, so a mixed-language team shares the same till without switching modes.
