ERP and POS software built for Bur Dubai shops

From the textile lanes of Meena Bazaar to the heritage courtyards of Al Fahidi, Zeyto runs on your own PC โ€” billing, stock and VAT keep working even when the internet drops mid-sale.

Bur Dubai runs on walk-in customers. Your till has to keep up.

Meena Bazaar fills up every evening with families buying sarees, abayas and school uniforms by the metre. Al Fahidi carries a steady flow of tourists into the small heritage cafes and craft shops. The gold and textile lanes off Al Fahidi Street move fast, in cash and card, in English, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu and Tagalog. When a queue is at the counter, an ERP that pauses to sync to the cloud is not an option. Zeyto installs on the shop PC, prints the invoice in under a second, and posts to stock and VAT in the same click.

Cafes and heritage-quarter F&B

Table or counter service, split bills, service charge and 5% VAT shown correctly on the printed receipt.

Why offline-first matters on Al Fahidi Street

  • The shop keeps billing during a router reboot, an Etisalat outage, or a landlord power cut โ€” the database is on your own PC, not in a browser tab.
  • Card terminal and Zeyto POS are independent โ€” one going down does not stop the other.
  • Your customer list, sales history and VAT ledger stay on the machine you own. Nothing is held hostage by a subscription lapse.
  • Sync to a second PC, a laptop or a phone happens quietly in the background when the internet is back โ€” no manual export.

FTA VAT today, 2027 e-invoicing ready

Zeyto files-ready VAT returns straight from your daily sales and purchases โ€” standard rated, zero rated, exempt and out-of-scope split correctly, with the tax invoice format the FTA expects (TRN, tax point, AED totals, Arabic where required). The same engine is being extended for the UAE's 2027 e-invoicing mandate, so the shop you install this year is the shop that will be compliant on day one โ€” no re-purchase, no data migration.

Getting started in Bur Dubai

1

Call a local partner

Zeyto is sold and installed by UAE-based IT partners. They visit the shop, understand the counters, printers and stock file you already have.

2

Install on your own PC

One binary, PostgreSQL underneath, licence file activated once. No server room needed โ€” a decent shop PC is enough.

3

Load your items and opening stock

Import from Excel, from your old billing software's export, or key it in with the partner during setup.

4

Print your first VAT invoice

Configure the header, TRN and Arabic name once. The tax invoice, credit note and delivery note templates are ready out of the box.

5

Backup and go live

Encrypted backups to a USB, a second PC, or Zeyto Cloud โ€” you choose. Restore is a single click.

FAQ

Straight answers

Do you have a partner who can visit my shop in Meena Bazaar for install and training?
Yes. Zeyto is delivered through UAE-based IT partners who cover Bur Dubai, including Meena Bazaar, Al Fahidi, Al Souk Al Kabeer and Mankhool. They handle the on-site install, printer and barcode-scanner setup, and initial staff training in English, Hindi, Malayalam or Arabic as needed. Use the contact form to be put in touch with the nearest one.
My internet in the shop is unreliable in the evenings โ€” will billing still work?
Yes. Zeyto is offline-first by design. The database and the application sit on your shop PC, so invoicing, POS, stock updates, VAT posting, printing and backups all continue with no internet at all. When the connection returns, any sync to a second counter, a laptop, a phone or the cloud catches up automatically in the background.
Can it handle textile selling by the metre and mixed units on one bill?
Yes. Items can be defined in metres, yards, pieces or bundles, with conversion factors, and the same invoice can mix by-the-metre fabric with ready-made pieces. Cut-loss, minimum-cut and price-per-metre with a piece minimum are all supported โ€” the patterns Meena Bazaar shops actually use.
Is it FTA-compliant for VAT returns, and will it be ready for e-invoicing in 2027?
Yes on both. Zeyto produces tax invoices in the FTA-required format (TRN, tax point, AED totals, Arabic content where required) and generates the VAT return figures directly from your sales and purchase ledgers. The product roadmap is aligned to the UAE's 2027 e-invoicing mandate, so the same installation will move to Peppol-style structured invoicing when the mandate takes effect โ€” no re-purchase.
What about Arabic printing on the invoice โ€” I have Emirati customers who want it in Arabic?
Yes. Item names and party names can be stored bilingually, and the tax invoice, delivery note and receipt templates print English and Arabic side-by-side with proper right-to-left layout. Amount-in-words is generated in both languages.
If I stop paying, do I lose access to my sales history and customer list?
No. Because the data lives in PostgreSQL on your own PC, your history stays with you. A lapsed licence limits new posting until it is renewed, but your existing records, backups and printed invoices remain fully yours.
