ERP, POS and VAT accounting for Dubai Silicon Oasis

Built for the IT firms, light-manufacturing units and e-commerce fulfillment operators inside DSO. One binary on your own PC, a signed licence, and full offline operation โ€” invoicing, stock, POS and VAT return keep working whether the internet does or not.

Made for how Dubai Silicon Oasis actually operates

DSO is not a single kind of business. Inside the free zone you have IT and software firms clustered around the DTEC building, hardware and electronics assemblers in the light-industrial plots off Al Ain Road, e-commerce sellers running fulfillment out of warehouses on Wadi Al Safa, and a steady mix of trading offices, spare-parts distributors and service companies feeding the residential clusters. Zeyto is one ERP that fits all of them because the modules you switch on decide what the product becomes: a POS for a Souq Extra retailer, a warehouse system for a fulfillment operator, a project-and-timesheet tool for a DTEC software house.

Industries in DSO and how Zeyto fits

IT and software firms (DTEC)

Project-based invoicing in AED and foreign currency, retainer billing, expense capture, VAT on services, and clean books for free-zone audit. Works from a laptop at a hot-desk without a live connection.

Light manufacturing and electronics assembly

Multi-level BOM, batch and serial tracking, work-order costing and warehouse transfers between the shop floor and finished-goods store.

E-commerce and 3PL fulfillment

Bin-level stock, barcode picking, order import from spreadsheets, courier-ready labels and a document designer for delivery notes and returns.

Trading and distribution offices

Quotation to invoice, credit limits, price lists per customer, and a real double-entry ledger โ€” not a spreadsheet with totals.

Service and maintenance companies

Service jobs, engineer timesheets, spare-part consumption from van stock, and recurring AMC invoicing.

Retail inside DSO clusters

Offline POS with barcode-first entry, night mode, cash and card tenders, day-close and Z-report โ€” usable on the counter even if the shop Wi-Fi drops.

Why offline-first matters in DSO specifically

DSO has good connectivity, but shops, warehouses and shop-floor terminals still see fibre cuts during civil works, router failures on Fridays, and ISP outages that leave a cloud-only POS staring at a spinner while customers queue. Zeyto Edge runs on the PC in your shop or office. Invoices are issued, stock moves, POS keeps billing, VAT keeps calculating. Your data lives on your own machine โ€” not in someone else's data centre โ€” and encrypted backups sync to Zeyto Cloud only when you allow them to.

FAQ

Straight answers

Do you install and train on-site inside Dubai Silicon Oasis?
Yes. Zeyto is sold through local IT partners across Dubai. They visit your DSO office, DTEC desk or warehouse, install Zeyto Edge on your PC, migrate opening balances, and train your team in English or Arabic. Follow-up support is same-emirate.
Where is my accounting and stock data actually stored?
On the PC or small server you nominate inside your DSO premises, in a PostgreSQL database. Zeyto Cloud only holds your licence, opt-in telemetry and encrypted backups if you enable them. Nothing about your customers or stock leaves your machine unless you choose to sync it.
Will the POS keep working if the DSO internet goes down?
Yes. The POS, invoicing, stock movements, VAT calculation, printing and backups are all local operations. An outage on du or Etisalat does not stop billing. When connectivity returns, mobile companion and multi-branch sync catch up on their own.
Is Zeyto ready for the UAE 2027 e-invoicing mandate?
The invoice data model already carries the fields the PINT AE profile requires, and the product is engineered to submit through an accredited service provider once the mandate applies to your business. You will not need to replace the ERP โ€” a switch is turned on.
We are a free-zone company in DSO โ€” does Zeyto handle designated-zone VAT rules?
Yes. Movements of goods between designated zones, into the mainland, and to export are treated correctly, and the VAT return reflects them without manual adjustment. Corporate Tax reporting is also supported through a clean trial balance and related-party tagging.
