Straight answers
Does Zeyto print tax invoices in Arabic that meet UAE FTA requirements?
Yes. Every Zeyto invoice template can render fully in Arabic, in English, or in a bilingual side-by-side layout. The Arabic version carries the mandatory UAE VAT invoice content - tax invoice heading, supplier and customer TRN, tax-point date, itemised amounts, VAT breakdown, total including VAT, and total in words - laid out for right-to-left reading with proper handling of numeric fields.
Can staff who prefer English and staff who prefer Arabic share the same Zeyto database?
Yes. Language preference is per user, not per company. One Zeyto installation can serve an Arabic-preferring accountant, an English-preferring counter salesperson, and a bilingual owner from the same local database. Each operator sees the UI in their own language while reading and writing the same shared records.
Do I have to enter every item and party name twice, in English and Arabic?
Only if you want both to appear on printed documents. Zeyto stores an Arabic name and an English name as separate first-class fields on every customer, supplier, item, and chart-of-accounts record. Fill only one and the system falls back gracefully. Fill both and the invoice or report picks the right one for the reader automatically.
Does the Zeyto POS work in Arabic with a proper right-to-left layout?
Yes. The POS screen is fully RTL-mirrored, not just translated. The item grid, payment flow, discount panel, receipt preview, and keyboard shortcut hints all move to the correct side of the screen. Barcode search finds items by their Arabic name, their English name, or their SKU, and receipts print in the language the customer expects.
Can printed invoices show Eastern Arabic digits (٠١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩) instead of Latin digits?
Yes. Each document template carries a numeric-shape flag. You can print quantities, prices, and totals using Eastern Arabic digits on Arabic templates while keeping Latin digits on English templates, or mix both on a bilingual layout. The choice is per template, so you do not have to commit the entire company to one shape.
Is amount-in-words available in Arabic on tax invoices and receipts?
Yes. Zeyto ships an Arabic amount-in-words engine tuned for UAE dirhams and the other GCC currencies. The invoice can render the total as, for example, 'أل٠ومئتان وخمسون درهماً إماراتياً وخمسون Ùلساً لا غير' alongside or instead of the English equivalent. The engine handles feminine and masculine grammar, the fils sub-unit, and the joining conventions correctly.
