  • IssueTrial, evaluation, paid, renewal, add-on, and NFR licences are issued by the platform.
  • ActivateThe installed Edge sends licence key plus device fingerprint and receives a signed `.zlic`.
  • Work offlineThe local `.zlic` remains authoritative until expiry and grace. Cloud outage cannot stop billing.
  • ReviseRenewals and upgrades create a new revision that Edge can pick up without reinstalling.
  • ReleaseOld devices can be released from portal/admin and the device limit is freed.
  • AuditIssue, activate, release, revoke, trial, and download actions are logged.
